Kodiak Now Certified In New Zealand
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of New Zealand has certified the Quest Kodiak aircraft, adding to its accreditations in the Asia Pacific region.
“The Kodiak’s versatility, reliability and performance capabilities make it well-suited for a range of missions,” said Sam Hill, Quest’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “As we continue to enhance our presence in this part of the world, we expect to see continued growth and market penetration.”
Asia and the Pacific Rim are currently the second largest market for the Kodiak. The aircraft is certified in Australia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Papua New Guinea and the Philippines. Last November, Sydney, Australia-based Utility Air was named as the exclusive Kodiak sales representative for Australia, New Zealand and several other countries by Setouchi Trading Asia Pacific, Quest’s authorized dealer for this region. Utility Air’s experience and strong relationships with customers is contributing to the increasing awareness of the Kodiak and its capabilities.
Quest also has an authorized Kodiak dealer in China, SkyView Aircraft.
“We continue to strategically expand our presence internationally, which includes working on additional aircraft type certifications in key markets,” Hill added. The Kodiak now has 22 certifications covering 32 countries, with several additional certifications imminent.
Quest will have two Kodiak aircraft on display at Sun 'n Fun this week.
