Resigned: Aviation Partners Boeing's Mike Marino

Aviation Partners Boeing announced today that its Board of Managers has accepted the resignation of Mike Marino as CEO, citing Marino's desire to pursue other interests. The Board is initiating a search for a replacement immediately.
 
"We appreciate Mike's dedicated service to the Company and wish him well in his new endeavors," said Larry Simkins, a Manager of APB's Board of Managers.

"Under his leadership, the company has gained worldwide recognition as the premier provider of blended winglets."

During his tenure, APB expanded the winglet product line and installed approximately 800 blended winglet shipsets on commercial and private aircraft. Marino joined APB as the CEO in 2003 after more than 20 years of leadership positions at The Boeing Company.

Aviation Partners Boeing, a joint venture between Aviation Partners, Inc. and Boeing, was founded in 1999 and develops blended winglet technology to improve the fuel economy and performance for Boeing commercial aircraft
