Timepiece Designed With NASCAR Driver, Julia Landauer
The Abingdon Co. is starting 2019 on the NASCAR circuit as they launch into the automotive racing arena with a new timepiece built in collaboration with two time champion NASCAR driver, Julia Landauer. The “Julia” watch will be available on Indiegogo during their crowdfunding campaign January 21-February 20.
The Abingdon/Landauer collaboration began a year ago after Abingdon, Crew Member in Chief of The Abingdon Co. reached out to Landauer after seeing an interview of her online. “Julia spoke about racing the same way I speak about flying. We both are passionate about what we love and we want to see more women in the industries,” Abingdon says. “I knew I wanted to work with Julia. We both have very similar visions.”
Over the course of the year, Abingdon and Landauer designed the Julia , a multi-function watch with a second time zone and tachymeter for precision timing. Available in Performance Black, Champion Gold, and Quick Silver and outfitted with interchangeable bands in leather and stainless steel.
Last November, Abingdon and Julia launched the timepiece at a private viewing in downtown Las Vegas with members of the press and influencers in the automotive industry.
