Ready For Some GOOD News?
Here's a story you
don't see that often... One of the aviation industry's most
well-known companies is cutting it's prices... AVEMCO
Insurance Company has announced that it has reduced its premium
rates for several categories of its popular Aviator Series
Non-Owned (Renter's) insurance.
Decreases of 7-8% have been made in the Gold and Platinum levels
of the Aviator Series packages without any changes in coverages.
These are joined by the newest option for non-owned insurance, the
Aviator Silver, which was recently announced at a rate of $215
annually. All packages in the Aviator Series provide options for
pilots to customize liability and aircraft damage liability
insurance to meet their personal flying needs.
"Increased demand for non-owned insurance has enabled us to
reduce our rates for these important insurance packages. With as
many as 300,000 non-owner pilots renting or borrowing aircraft in
the US today, it's essential that all pilots secure the insurance
they need because the FBOs', flight schools' or owners' policies
invariably don't provide protection for the renter," said Jim
Lauerman, AVEMCO's Executive Vice President and Chief Underwriting
Officer.
"As the only direct
aviation insurance carrier in the country, we ensure that our
customers can get the immediate coverage they need by applying and
binding right away on-line or calling our team of licensed aviation
insurance specialists, many of whom are pilots, without waiting
days or even weeks to secure coverage. Everyone in the general
aviation community wants to go flying without having to worry about
insurance. At AVEMCO, we work to make it easy to get the right
coverage at the right price," Lauerman continued.
AVEMCO Non-Owned insurance can be obtained on-line anytime with
an approved credit card if all underwriting criteria are met.
Policy benefits include up to the first $1,000 for aircraft damage
to reimburse the owner for his or her insurance deductible,
regardless of the renter's legal liability. The aircraft damage
liability also includes coverage for loss of use and loss of value.
Liability coverage features unlimited legal defense costs and $100
per day in-patient hospital payments for the insured and spouse,
parents and children, up to a maximum of $5,000. In addition,
pilots completing one of the AVEMCO/King Schools Practical Risk
Management Courses and/or other recurrency training can qualify for
up to 10% in credits on their non-owned insurance premium.
(Exclusions and limitations apply).
