City Of Reno Identifies Those Fatally Injured In Air Race Accident

Family Members Of The Eleven People Have Been Notified

In a statement released Wednesday, the City of Reno identified the 11 people fatally injured in last Friday's accident at the Reno Air Races.

From the City of Reno:

The Washoe County Medical Examiner's Office has completed scientific identification and notification to family members on 11 victims from Friday's incident at the Reno Championship Air Races.

The total number of deceased victims is 11. The identified victims are:
John Craik – 45 year old male – place of residence Gardnerville, Nevada
James McMichael – 47 year old male – place of residence Graham, Washington
Cheryl Elvin – 71 year old female – place of residence Lenexa, Kansas
Wendy Hewitt – 56 year old female – place of residence Mohave, Arizona (formerly from Bellingham, Washington)
Craig Salerno – 50 year old male – place of residence Friendswood, Texas
Michael Wogan – 22 year old male – place of residence Scottsdale, Arizona
George Hewitt – 60 year old male – place of residence Bellingham, Washington
Regina Bynum – 53 year old female – place of residence San Angelo, Texas
Sharon Stewart – 47 year old female – place of residence Reno, Nevada
Gregory Morcom – 47 year old male – place of residence Stanwood, Washington
James Leeward – 74 year old male – place of residence Ocala, Florida

City officials say relatives of all of those fatally injured have been notified.
