Students Invited To Spend Summer At Evergreen Aviation Museum

Not Your Typical Camp Experience

The Evergreen Aviation Museum in McMinnville, OR invites students, grades 1-10, to join the adventure in June, July and August at the Evergreen Aviation Museum Summer Camps.

Featured camps include Aviation Academy, Elementary Day Camp, Space Exploration Camp, Rocketry Overnight Camp, Blast Off Day Camp and Aviation Day Camp.

The Museum is hosting six two-day summer camps where students may learn about the science and history of flight while building gliders, airplanes, rockets and flying radio controlled (RC) aircraft. The camps will take place among the museum's collection of over 80 historic aircraft and exhibits, and will include a film at the Evergreen IMAX 3D Theater.

The line up of summer camps also includes two overnight camps in conjunction with Seattle's Museum of Flight. Students will spend the first part of the camp at the Evergreen Museum and then will travel to the Seattle Museum of Flight for the second day.

Each camp is age group specific, and prices range between $48 to $285 depending on the camp. Special prices are available for museum members.
