EAA/IMC Club Announce Inaugural Meeting

Will Be Held January 19 In Fort Washington, MD

The EAA/IMC Club has announced that it will hold its inaugural meeting in Fort Washington, MD on January 19.

The topic of the meeting will be a "scenario-based" discussion of ways to build proficiency in instrument flying. It will be facilitated by Radek Wyrzykowski - EAA Manager of Flight Proficiency.

The EAA/IMC Club's network promotes a safety culture through continued education and believes that safety and proficiency are developed through education and experience. Monthly meetings offer an opportunity to share in-flight experiences and valuable safety tips.  You do not have to be an instrument rated pilot to attend.

Along with IFR flying and monthly local meetings, EAA/IMC Clubs offer a resource-rich website which provides an electronic experience base.

Our intent is to create a community of pilots in order to share information, provide recognition, foster communications, promote safety and build proficiency in instrument flying. EAA/IMC Clubs offer monthly meetings in which pilots can network and share knowledge and experiences.

The meeting will begin at 1900 EST in the classroom of GT Aviation on Potomac Airfield in Fort Washington just south of Washington, D.C. Seating is limited, and advanced online registration is recommended.

You don't need an instrument rating to attend. This meeting is open to all current, non-current, and future instrument pilots.
