NBAA Announces Three CAMs

Announces Two Upcoming Exam Dates

The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) announced three individuals who have successfully passed the Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) Examination, administered February 26 in Anaheim, CA. As NBAA describes, the CAM Program "offers a way to identify and measure the aviation-specific knowledge and management skills of current and aspiring flight department managers." Through the certification process, NBAA seeks to raise the professionalism and quality of management within flight departments.

The following Certified Aviation Manager graduates are:

  • Jay Arcemont of Woodland Aviation, Inc., Woodland, CA
  • Barton Gault of Vulture II Corp., San Diego, CA
  • William Pollard of Universal Underwriters Group, Inc., Independence, MO

The next CAM Exam will be administered on Thursday, May 20 in the New York City area. Location details will be announced shortly. The CAM Exam also will be offered on Monday, October 11 in Las Vegas, NV in conjunction with the NBAA 57th Annual Meeting & Convention.

The deadline to apply for the May 20 exam is Tuesday, April 6, and the deadline to apply for the October 11 exam is Friday, August 27. Exam application materials must be postmarked by the deadline.
