Proxity Introduces CyberBug Micro-Mini UAV

Two-pound flyweight UAV packs GPS, audio and video capability into small package

Proxity Digital Networks, Inc. has announced it is completing development of the low cost CyberBug, a 2 pound micro-mini UAV. When fully developed, CyberBug can be used by the military, law enforcement, business owners, and state and local agencies to monitor properties and targets of terrorism as well as assist law enforcement around the globe.

The CyberBug acts as the eyes and ears of the remote operator. It can be flown into a problem area while a remote operator with a headset observes and listens. Running on battery power, it quietly gathers intelligence and can be used to replace humans that are in harm's way. The CyberBug can be flown and perched in trees, on rock formations and buildings to monitor activities, provide the GPS coordinates of problem areas, aid in communications line-of-sight, cover areas of interest with a blanket of cameras day or evening, and survey remote areas such as pipelines, monuments, bridges, forests or facilities needing protection. Authorities can follow up with the appropriate action when the CyberBug reports hostile or covert action.

A technologically sophisticated stealth device, the low-cost CyberBug UAV is priced at $5,500. When bought in large quantities, it can be used simultaneously in a number of operations.
