Citation CJ2 Approved for Steep Approach

More Versatility for Popular BizJet

Cessna's Citation CJ2 has been awarded steep approach certification. The Citation CJ2 Flight Manual Supplement (Supplement 39) was approved to meet steep approach requirements in April 2003.

The Citation CJ2 was introduced at the 1998 NBAA convention, and first deliveries occurred in 2000. Today, over 155 CJ2s are in service with over 47,000 fleet hours.

Currently six Citation models meet the requirements for the steep approach -- the Citation II, Citation V, Citation Ultra, CitationJet, Citation Bravo, and Citation CJ2. Other JAA countries may, subject to the operator's agreement with that authority, provide their approval for aircraft on their national register to operate into and out of London City based on the UK approval with the Citation II and Citation V.
