"Squeaky clean."

Source: Ralph Crosby, chairman and chief executive of the North American branch of Airbus parent company EADS, on business ethics at the European aerospace consortium. Crosby was responding to Boeing chief James McNerney's implications in a recent Seattle Times interview that Airbus was skirting federal laws governing control of exports of military items, as well as regulations requiring transparent business practices by US companies overseas to discourage bribing of foreign officials to win contracts. Crosby says there is no need for its business dealings to be monitored... unlike, perhaps, Boeing... which, as Crosby helpfully reminded everyone, has had its share of questionable business dealings in recent years.
