Gulfstream Delivers First Texan G600

Interior Outfitting Begins At Freshly Completed Facility

The first production G600 jet completed at their Dallas, Texas facility has been delivered, showing a quick response to the continuing boom in bizjet demand.

The new location was expanded in June of last year to provide additional capacity for specialized interior outfitting in the company's new production jets. Customers shopping the G600 have a plethora of options, being able to configure a floor plan with separate rooms, living areas, crew quarters, passenger seating, and galleys to suit their particular mission. The Dallas location was designed in tandem with the company's customer service expansion at nearby Fort Worth Alliance airport, set to open later this year.

Gulfstream has put considerable effort into their new range of options, competing for awards and accolades with their newest developments. The work seems to have paid off, as the company can now boast about its improved filtration system; "whisper-quiet noise levels”; and "artisanal, handcrafted cabinetry, furnishings, and finishes."

“We are seeing tremendous demand for our next-generation aircraft,” said Mark Burns, president of Gulfstream. “Expanding G600 completions to Dallas is positioning us well for the future as we prepare for G700 entry into service, continued G500 and G600 in-service fleet growth and the interest we are seeing in the recently announced G400 and G800.”

“Our award-winning bespoke interiors and the individuals who create and install them are the best in the business. In fact, we have received direct feedback from this newest G600 customer citing an ‘outstanding’ experience, and I’m excited for our customers to experience the unparalleled quality and excellence produced by the world-class team at our Dallas facility,” said Burns.
