ELITE Donates New V8.5 With GNS 430W To Centers for Airway Science

Program Provides 'Simulating' After-School Experience

ELITE Simulation Solutions has announced an in-kind donation of its just-released V8.5 software suite with GNS 430W to the Centers for Airway Science in Portland, OR.

The mission of the Centers for Airway Sciences is to foster high social and academic achievement through prevention of school dropouts, poor grade performance and other threats to positive development while sparking interest in high tech, high salary careers.

CAS uses aviation and the excitement it brings to inspire extracurricular learning of math, science, engineering, and computer technology.

Through the use of computer flight simulation and model engineering, an aerospace-based atmosphere is created and maintained to promote creative thinking and cooperative training.

CAS provides an exciting and motivating after-school learning alternative for 10 to 12 year olds with limited access to special opportunity, high quality after school programs.

ELITE enjoys being involved in such community outreach programs which inspire today's youth to consider a career within the aviation industry, spokesman Stephen Gatlin said.
