Banks, Beaches, and Bonanzas: Cayman Aviation at NBAA

CAA of the Cayman Islands to Exhibit First Time at NBAA 2003

Say, 'Cayman Islands,' and one immediately thinks of white sandy beaches, magnificent diving and offshore banks. It's true that the tourism and financial industries are the two significant pillars of the economy in the Cayman Islands but few people; in particular business aviation professionals know about the burgeoning Aircraft Registry that the Civil Aviation Authority of the Cayman Islands operates.

The Cayman Aircraft Registry is a growing and attractive registry for foreign individuals and corporations to examine. With nearly 100 planes registered our partners have voiced their pleasure at the processing of their registration on the Cayman Islands Aircraft Registry.

[The Caymans may be the closest-to-US airports where you can still buy 100/130 leaded 'Green' or low-lead 'Blue' gasoline, as well --ed.]

This year for the first time, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Cayman Islands will exhibit at NBAA 2003 in Orlando (FL), on October 7, 8, and 9. Management from the CAACI will be on-hand to answer your questions in regards to registering a plane on the Aircraft Registry, the benefits associated; general aviation facilities, that cater to international arrivals and departures and air traffic services.

Director of Civil Aviation, Mr. Richard Smith, a 27-year veteran of the Cayman Islands aviation industry commented, "NBAA is a wonderful opportunity for the Cayman Islands to extend its aviation awareness, we have a first-class aircraft registry and experienced staff dedicated to making our aviation industry safe and secure."
