Tamarack Active Winglets Achieve Multi-Agency Installation Approvals

Now Approved By EASA, FAA, ANAC And Transport Canada

Tamarack Aerospace Group has received the last in a series of approvals from ANAC Brazil for its Atlas Active Winglets for the Cessna C525, C525A and C525B. This certification means that Atlas is now approved for installation on Cessna CJ, CJ1, CJ1+, M2, CJ2, CJ2+, CJ3 and CJ3+ business jets by all the major regulatory agencies including EASA, FAA, ANAC and Transport Canada.

"It’s exciting to now have complete international approvals on our entire product line," said Brian Cox, President of Tamarack Aerospace. "This opens up the Active Winglet upgrade opportunity for our international CitationJet customers and is also a significant milestone in growing our business and installation network outside the US.”

“This is just the latest approval in our steady stream of STCs” said Nick Guida, Founder of Tamarack Aerospace, “but it shows how agile and experienced the Tamarack team has become in obtaining multiple sequential certifications. We are excited that international CJ owners can now experience the significant performance benefits of our Active Winglet upgrade.”

The operational benefits that owners will see with an Active Winglet equipped aircraft are:

  • Increased range.
  • Maximum Zero Fuel Weight increase.
  • Reduced time to climb to cruise altitude.
  • Increased climb gradients.
  • Improved single-engine climb performance.
  • Ride smoothing and stability.
  • Upgraded LED navigation & anti-collision lighting.
