Platinum Jet Center Opens Facility At KBMI

Facility Courts Honda, Eclipse For Service Centers

Aero-News has learned Platinum Jet Center BMI has opened its full-service, 34,000 square foot aviation and business center at the Bloomington-Normal Central Illinois Regional Airport. Platinum offers complete charter services, aviation consultation, leasing, and sales, as well as comprehensive maintenance and fueling services.

As the trend with regional aircraft manufacturers moves toward larger and taller aircraft, Platinum offers new capability and service levels to both existing and new aircraft manufacturers. Platinum’s new facility features a 44-foot hangar door -- large enough to accommodate a BBJ, or any member of the Boeing 737 family.

"Platinum Jet Center represents service innovation and a fresh opportunity for aviation customers large and small," said Platinum CEO Lincoln Francis. "We open our doors to existing manufacturers and look forward to working with those like Eclipse and Honda who seek new service center relationships."

Francis is a pilot and CEO of Executive Flight Management/Trans American Charter LTD, a Chicago-based aircraft management, charter, maintenance, sales and consulting company with over 20 years of success.

Francis tells ANN he was driven to develop Platinum Jet Center based on customer demand, his personal passion for aviation, and his desire to contribute to the aviation community.

"Platinum Jet Center allows clients to bypass larger airports, avoid delays, and save time while offering commuters multiple airline connections home," said Francis.
