Dallas Selected to Host AEA Convention in 2026

Texas Gets its 9th Avionics Show On the Books

Hilton Anatole of Dallas, Texas has been chosen to host the 69th iteration of the Aviation Electronics Association in 2026.

The event will return to the facility for the first time since 2021, gracing the town with the collective nerdary of the avionics industry once again. It makes sense why the organization would once again set down there, given the fact that more than 10% of the AEA's membership is located in Texas, most of them centered around the Dallas-Fort Worth metro expanse. Last month, for AEA 2024, the group saw more than 1,700 people turn out, the largest number an AEA exhibition has seen in more than 6 years. With the Hilton Anatole jumping into the fray again, Dallas becomes the most frequent town for an AEA visit - understandable, since attendees often cite some fairly good eatin' around there.

That sets up 2026, but preparation for 2025 continues onward. The team there will bet holding the 68th annual AEA International Convention & Trade Show, running in the ides of March once again. The Show will take place at the expansive Phoenix Convention Center, 'one of the 25 largest convention venues in the United States'. It should prove plenty roomy for AEA attendees, with nearly 900,000 square feet of meeting and exhibition space on a campus that spans more than 2 million square feet. The Show will make for a second time in town for the AEA, lagging behind Dallas with its 8, going on 9 AEA Shows overall. The AEA will release an exhibitor prospectus later this summer, giving visitors all the useful details for those interested in attending.
