Lancair Factory Kit Demonstrator Down, Two Lost

The Lancair Kit Company fixed gear Legacy factory demonstrator, N359L (shown below), went down in Madras OR, Monday, with the loss of the two persons aboard. Confirmed on board were Kevin Roberts, 25, a Lancair Kit Company Sales Associate and Darren Sulka, 34. Both men resided in Redmond, OR. The impact site is located near Grizzly Mountain, and about 20 NM SE of the city of Madras.

Reports were phoned into local law enforcement starting at 1900 local time and a search revealed the wreckage in a a farmer's field at 2045. ANN expects more information on this story shortly and will update it accordingly.
