Game Of Peek-A-Boo Costs Flight Attendant His Job

Placed A Toddler In The Overhead Storage Bin

It must have seemed innocent enough. A flight attendant on a Virgin Blue flight from Fiji to Sydney, Australia got involved in a game of peek-a-boo with a family, but the game ultimately cost him his job.

The mother of the youngster said she and her then-husband had been playing the game when the FA came along, picked up the boy, put him in with the carry-ons, and shut the door.  Television station KTNV reports that the mother says even though the boy was only in the compartment for a few seconds, he now suffers from anxiety.

The flight attendant was told shortly thereafter that his services would no longer be required, and the mom was given free travel vouchers for future flights on the airline.
