Another Light At The End Of The Tunnel?

Elite Flight Solutions Optimum Aviation Unit Continues Expansion

Elite Flight Solutions says it has implemented its expansion plan to acquire new aircraft, establish additional hub facilities in the United States and manage its operations more cost effectively.

The expansion plan for Optimum moved forward last week with negotiations to purchase two SAAB thirty-passenger aircraft. Optimum is set to acquire the new aircraft upon the completion of due diligence and financing programs. The planes could be delivered within 75 days of completion of the pre-buy process.

In addition, Optimum cut $300,000 in annual payroll costs and plans to find more cuts in its annual budget as it aggressively moves toward a more efficient operating environment.

Greg Meech, Elite's president said today, "The expansion program is under way as we are set to acquire additional aircraft to generate more revenue for group charter and traditional charter operations. Ultimately, our goal is to generate earnings and earnings growth, and the cost cutting program that we have implemented is a key component towards that goal. Not only do we want to generate more revenues but we are striving to operate as efficiently as possible."

Also announced earlier, the Company's Flyjets.biz subsidiary and website will be renamed Optimum Aviation. All identifiers on the web-site will be renamed to reflect the Optimum Aviation name.
