Upgraded: CubCrafter's Blake Maygra

Named Director For New Aircraft Production

On Monday, CubCrafters named Blake Maygra "Director, New Aircraft Production."

In that role, Maygra (above) will oversee all of CubCrafters' new aircraft assembly operations, including both the LSA-certified Sport Cub and "Part 23" standard category Top Gun aircraft programs. He also assumes organizational and schedule responsibility for all new aircraft parts fabrication at CubCrafters.

"Blake has been instrumental in our growth and our ability to build airplanes up to the 27 year-old CubCrafters quality standard," said Vice President Todd Simmons. "He and his production team are continuing to grow our "lean" manufacturing operation while we institutionalize key assembly practices, standardize our operating procedures, and make critical investments in both the personnel and capital equipment assets required in our business.

"Under Blake’s leadership, we are building the foundation that will serve our production needs for years to come across multiple product lines," Simmons concluded.

Maygra joined CubCrafters in early 2005. Company representatives tell ANN he holds a degree from Washington State University and he enjoys all the outdoor activity opportunities in the Northwest... when he not thinking about building airplanes.
