EasyJet May Face A Second Holiday Strike In France

Walkout Planned For December 31-Jan 1

Members of two French unions are planning a two-day strike against EasyJet for New Years Eve and New Years Day that could disrupt the budget carrier's flights to and from France.

Buying Business Travel reports that the SNPNC and UNAC unions which represent French cabin crews have called for the labor action because the airline has not opened negotiations in a dispute about rotas and profit sharing.

EasyJet has confirmed that the unions have called for the strike and that flight to and from France "could be affected," but have offered no further details. “We would like to reassure customers that we are doing everything possible to minimize any disruption as a result of the industrial action,” the airline said in a statement. “Easyjet remains open and committed to finding a suitable resolution with the unions.”
