Ferguson, MO Resident Accused Of Shooting At Police Helicopter

Allegedly Fired Several Shots, Threatened Witnesses

A resident of Ferguson, MO has been arrested and charged with several felonies, including shooting at a police helicopter, during unrest in the city this past summer.

Television station KMOV identified the man as Terrell Doss, 28, who witnesses say discharged a handgun in the direction of the helicopter on August 10th. The rounds did not hit the aircraft, but witnesses went on to say that Doss threatened them with violence if he was identified.

He later put an unloaded gun in the witnesses stomach and pulled the trigger.

That witness identified Doss to authorities on November 17th. Doss was arrested and charged with two counts of second degree assault on law enforcement and several other felonies. He is being held in lieu of a $100,000 cash-only bond.
