House Aviation Subcommittee To Hold FAA Reauthorization Hearing

FAA Administrator Michael Huerta The Only Witness On The Agenda

FAA Administrator Michael Huerta (pictured) will testify at an Aviation Subcommittee hearing this week on reauthorization of the agency and ensuring a modern U.S. aviation system.

The current FAA law expires at the end of September, and a new authorization is one of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee’s highest priorities this year.  Administrator Huerta will provide the FAA’s perspectives on reauthorization.

This hearing of the Subcommittee on Aviation, entitled “Federal Aviation Administration Reauthorization: Enabling a 21st Century Aviation System,” is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.

Huerta is the only witness on the agenda for the hearing, which will be streamed live on the Committee website.
