AEA East Connect Conference In Jacksonville Rescheduled For December 4-5

Conference Changed Due To Damage Caused By Hurricane Irma

The AEA East Connect Conference scheduled for in mid-September was cancelled due to the destruction throughout Florida caused by Hurricane Irma.

AEA has announced that, thanks to the recovery efforts of the staff at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront, the AEA East Connect Conference has been rescheduled for December 4-5.

All attendees and exhibitors who previously registered to attend do NOT need to re-register -- you are still registered for this two-day event now set for December 4-5, and no further action is required. However, you will need to make a new hotel reservation with the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront.

Although the hotel suffered some minor flooding on the street level, the minor damage is nothing that new carpet won't fix. However, please note that the hotel is currently closed until October 3.

"We appreciate your patience, understanding and support in the need to reschedule this two-day conference, and we look forward to seeing you in sunny Florida, December 4-5," the association said in a media release.
