Able Flight Kicks Off Online Auction

eBay A Popular Place For Aero-Business

With offerings that range from flight training, aviation art and apparel, and luxury vacation get-a-ways, non-profit aviation scholarship provider Able Flight is the latest organization to join the rush to eBay.

Able Flight recently opened its online auction "store" on the internet auction website, just in time for holiday shopping.

Some of the first items offered include two nostalgic Sam Lyons signed and numbered limited edition prints; a vacation at the famed Whistler resort in British Columbia; flight training for a Commercial rating; and an air-to-air photo shoot of an owner's plane by a professional aviation photographer.

Other aviation groups and businesses -- including Build-A-Plane, CubCrafters, and Eclipse Aviation -- have launched similar efforts in recent weeks.

Able Flight's mission is to offer people with disabilities a unique way to challenge themselves through flight training, and by doing so, to gain greater self-confidence and self-reliance.
