NATA Safety 1st And Leading Edge Present De-Icing/Anti-Icing Seminars Next Month

NATA says you asked for an in-depth training seminar on De/Anti-icing. Next month, it'll be here.

NATA Safety 1st and Leading Edge will present a De-Icing/Anti-Icing seminar specifically designed for line techs, ground personnel, flight crews and dispatch personnel. The seminar will be held September 1 at the New England Air Museum, Bradley International Airport, Windsor Locks, CT, and September 22 at the Doubletree Hotel, Detroit Metro Airport, in Romulus, MI. Whether you are new or need a refresher, you will come away with the latest and safest de-icing/anti-icing procedures available.

What Will Be Covered: Clean aircraft concept, negative effects, critical aircraft surfaces, ground icing conditions, de-icing and anti-icing fluids, aircraft inspections, methods and procedures, visibility vs. density, holdover guidelines, recognizing fluid failures, written exam and review and an online training review.
