Flying and Driving Mustangs arrive in Central Florida for
Yearly "Round-Up" April 8, 9, & 10th, 2005
Fantasy of Flight, World's Greatest Aircraft Collection will
host the Mustang Club of America's National Show; "Mustangs and
Mustangs... Legends Havin' Fun" on April 8th, 9th and 10th,
2005.
Fantasy of Flight annually hosts the ONLY Mustang event that
features both beautifully restored P-51 Mustang Warbirds from WWII
and Ford Mustang automobiles in the state of Florida. This is the
first year that the show will be for three-days and welcomes all
Ford powered show quality vehicles. Mustangs of all eras, ages and
styles will be on display while competing in a Concours class
comparing the best with the best, Thoroughbred Category cars
competing neck-to-neck for the best car restored to 100% original
condition, street driven and daily driven Mustangs are compared and
judged, as well as a class for the new 2004-2005 Mustangs. All
these beautiful cars on display with the greatest generation of
fighter planes, the P-51 Mustang.
Fantasy of Flight is open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with The
Mustangs and Mustangs show starting at 10:00 am to 4:00pm on all
three days. Admission to the show is $24.95 for adults, $13.95 for
children 5-12 and $22.95 for senior citizens 60 and over (Florida
state sales tax is not included). Admission includes entrance to
Fantasy of Flight and the Mustang show. Much more than an aviation
museum, Fantasy of Flight is home to the "World's Greatest Aircraft
Collection" featuring over 70 beautifully restored rare and vintage
aircraft, Corsair flight simulators, daily restoration shop &
back-lot tours, aircraft of the day flights, a gift shop and the
art deco "Compass Rose Diner" open daily for breakfast, lunch, and
snacks. Fantasy of Flight is located midway between Tampa and
Orlando off I-4 exit #44.
