ANN CEO and Editor-in-Chief, Jim Campbell talks with Sagetech’s Todd Lester at EAA AirVenture 2013 to find out more about the Data Burst system and how it enhances the use of your iPad in the cockpit.
The Clarity function of the system operates even while your iPad is sleeping. It continues to monitor weather and traffic allowing a single press of the Clarity button to populate the display with current information. A popular part of the Data Burst function is its AHARS capability. Because it is battery powered, it can backup instrument and navigation data for up to 8 hours.
Clarity interfaces with your portable devices through use of standard Wi-Fi, and the company works with several PED providers to assure its product has correct interface.
Jim digs deeper, so watch this video and get questions answered that you would ask if you were at the Sagetech booth at AirVenture.
