Amerijet Partners With 3 Relief Organizations In Reno

Boys & Girls Clubs, Food Bank Of Northern Nevada, Children's Cabinet All To Benefit

Global cargo transportation provider Amerijet International, Inc. is partnering with three nonprofit organizations in Reno.

Amerijet's 200+ employees and agents from offices in the United States, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America are gathered for the Amerijet Holdings Annual Global Conference at the Eldorado Resort Casino. During the three day conference, the Amerijet employees and agents will raise money through teambuilding exercises. The money will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, Food Bank of Northern Nevada and The Children's Cabinet.

"We champion causes that matter most in the communities we serve by partnering with nonprofit organizations on both a local and national level," said Amerijet's Founder and CEO, Dave Bassett.

"We are honored to be selected and receive funds from Amerijet and their employees as they gather for their annual conference in Reno," said Mike Wurm, Executive Director, Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows. "Through generous community support we are able to serve more than 13,000 club members in our community."

"We are thrilled to partner with Amerijet for their world-wide conference," said Corporate and Community Engagement Manager, Joan Griswold. "It is so exciting to work with a company that values giving back to their communities in such a fun way."

"We thank Amerijet for thinking of The Children's Cabinet and other nonprofit organizations that benefit Northern Nevada's children and families. Money donated by Amerijet employees and agents from around the world will support our local mission to keep children safe and families together. It means a lot to us that a major corporation, visiting and doing business in our region, gives to the local economy and community in many ways. I'm happy to say welcome and thank you to Amerijet, on behalf of The Children's Cabinet's families, clients, and staff," said Mike Pomi, Executive Director of  The Children's Cabinet.

Bassett further added, "We take our social responsibility seriously. Amerijet has always participated in various humanitarian sponsorships around the world."

Amerijet International, Inc. is full-service multi-modal transportation and logistics provider, offering U.S. Domestic and International, scheduled all-cargo transport via land, sea, and air.
