ALTO Aviation Partners With Jet East Aviation

Provide Bluetooth Audio Receivers For Aircraft Fleet Operator

ALTO Aviation, through its dealer partnership with Jet East Aviation, has been contracted to supply their ALTO BTR-300 Bluetooth receivers with remote pairing switches in an undisclosed customer’s aircraft fleet.

The ALTO Bluetooth receiver is programmed with a custom name selected by the end customer to display on the passenger’s Personal Electronics Device (PED) when they board the aircraft. When boarding for the first time, the passenger selects the custom-named Bluetooth Audio device, presses the pairing button, and once paired to the receiver; they will be able to listen to their playlists through the aircraft audio system. Future sessions will automatically connect once the PED has been initially paired.

Jet East Aviation engineered and designed an aesthetically pleasing installation that includes rear mounting the ALTO Bluetooth pairing switch module into an existing bezel at the VIP seat location. This design approach provides the impression that the Bluetooth system was part of the original equipment installation.

“We are very pleased to have been chosen by Jet East and their customer to provide them with our Bluetooth retrofit system. The selection process included a thorough evaluation that entailed several months of testing prior to the contract award. We were also very impressed with the Jet East Management and Engineering team in their design approach and installation of the initial ship sets,” stated Steve Lord, ALTO Senior Technical Sales Manager.
