ASTM Looking For Expert Aid In Developing Tandem Hang Gliding Standards

ASTM, currently known for being the driving force behind the nearly complete consensus standards for the woefully incomplete Sport Pilot regs, is looking for some experts to help them develop much needed new standards for tandem hang gliding technologies.

Notice/Call for Participants for Standards on Hang Gliding Harnesses - ASTM International Committee F37 on Light Sport Aircraft

The Hang Gliding and Paragliding Tandem Operations Task Group, under the Cross-cutting subcommittee of ASTM Committee F37 - Light Sport Aircraft, will be developing equipment standards relating to hang gliding harnesses used for tandem hang gliding operations. Those interested in participating in the development of these standards are asked to contact Daniel Schultz (dschultz@astm.org) or Mike Meier (Mike@willswing.com).
