What an interesting event... The crew of The Aero-News Network approached this year’s Sun n Fun with great trepidation, especially since we had been entrusted for the first time with the Digital Daily.
It was an incredible amount of work, and a particularly interesting task in the middle of the chaos that surrounds the average Major Fly-In... But after a year of pandemic induced problems, the Sun n Fun 2021 Aerospace Expo would prove to be anything but average. As Aero-News was closing out the week, we had a chance to speak to Sun n Fun Boss Lites Leenhouts about the crazy crowds they were seeing building throughout the week and culminating in a Saturday that was clearly over the top. Herewith; are some of Lite’s remarks as he navigated the issues during a well-worn Fly-In that was showing new signs of life.
