Fokker Technologies Reaches New Agreements With Lockheed
Martin, Northrop Grumman
A competitive strategic sourcing agreement has been signed
between Fokker Technologies and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics to
identify and develop future roles and opportunities for Fokker in
the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program. Both companies agreed to
work together to enable the best propositions from the specialized
Fokker Business Units, and to support the F-35 over the lifetime of
the program. Sustainment and follow-on opportunities for Fokker are
emerging and will become available in the future.
Fokker Elmo, a Business Unit of Fokker Technologies, and
Lockheed Martin have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA)
contracting Fokker Elmo as the designated strategic supplier of
wiring harnesses for the F-35 Lightning II aircraft. This agreement
continues the very successful current arrangement through low rate
initial production lots 5 through 9, with the intention to continue
for the full rate production phases. Under the terms of the
agreement, Fokker Elmo will provide its unique total integrated
wiring system solution during the aircraft’s production
phases. This agreement is a formalization of the agreements of
April 2008.
Additionally, Fokker Aerostructures, Lockheed Martin
Aeronautics, and Northrop Grumman Corporation have signed a
Memorandum of Understanding selecting Fokker Aerostructures as the
supplier for the development and manufacturing of the in-flight
opening doors, the flaperons, the outboard leading edges, the STOVL
weapon bay doors and the arresting rears for the F-35 Lightning II.
This agreement consolidates the cooperation of Fokker, Lockheed
Martin and Northrop Grumman in the F-35 program for the upcoming
production phases.

"These agreements are a major step forward and emphasize the
success of the F-35 JSF industrial participation in the
Netherlands," says Sjoerd Vollebregt, CEO of Fokker Technologies.
"We are very proud to extend our mutual long-term relationships to
the next level. The enthusiasm of hundreds of highly educated
specialists that are part of the F-35 Lightning II team is
enormous. The Agreements demonstrates willingness trust and
commitment of our partners to use our unique capabilities and
services."
