Will Manage Reseller Network And Commercial Partnerships

XCOR Space Expeditions has appointed Kit Sheffield (pictured) as XCOR Director of US Sales. Mr. Sheffield will lead XCOR’s sales strategy within the United States, and will manage the reseller network and commercial partnerships. Sheffield will also work closely with the XCOR sales offices located in Hong Kong and XCOR sales headquarters in Amsterdam.

“As Lynx nears completion and sales continue to increase at a global level, building the right team to lead the charge in the United States is vital.” said XCOR Chief Executive Officer Jay Gibson. “We are excited to have Kit Sheffield on board.”

Mr. Sheffield most recently served as President of Veritech Systems in Dallas, Texas, and received his bachelor’s degree in Business Management at Southern Methodist University.

“As we near completion of Lynx Mark I, interest in XCOR Lynx flights is on the increase. It is my privilege to help people take a step with us to make the dream of spaceflight real for our customers, and to make history in the process.
