Avidyne Product Line To Be Distributed By DAC International

DAC International Builds on Longstanding Relationship By Adding Avidyne

DAC International is adding Avidyne’s products to its distribution network covering 39 countries in the Australian, Asia-Pacific, Canadian, Mexican, Latin American and South American markets. The selection broadens Avidyne’s global presence and enhances the company’s support for international avionics dealers.

With 392 partner dealers worldwide, DAC International is a leader in the distribution of aircraft avionics systems and support equipment to the commercial, military, and general aviation markets. The company has been a longstanding distributor of Ryan International products prior to the 2005 merger of Ryan and Avidyne.

DAC International will distribute Avidyne’s growing line of avionics products including the EX500 and EX5000 multi-function displays (MFD), TAS600 Series traffic advisory systems (TAS), Multi-Hazard Display (MHD) and MHAS6000 Multi-Hazard Awareness System.

“Avidyne’s growing line of avionics has a great reputation for innovation, value and intuitive operation that is generating strong interest in international markets,” said Terry Armstrong, Vice President of DAC International. “With greater accessibility to some of the best-selling avionics systems available today, our expanded relationship with Avidyne is good news for our dealers and to general aviation operators in some of the world’s fastest growing markets.”

“As an established global leader in avionics distribution, DAC International continues to be an excellent long-term partner as we expand our international presence,” said Mark Sandeen, vice president of sales and marketing at Avidyne. “They are an important part of our increasing commitment to customers in some of the fastest-growing segments of our business and the international market.”
