Blue Angels Announce Show Schedule

Season Opens March 14th In El Centro, CA

The Navy's Blue Angels have released their 2015 show schedule for a season running March 14 to November 7.

Posted on the teams officials website, the schedule lists the cities and military facilities where the jets will fly, as well as links to maps of those areas.

The team will open the season at NAF El Centro at the base's annual air show March 14, and the fly across the country for the Melbourne Air and Space Show in Melbourne, FL on March 21-22. The remainder of the schedule is as follows:

The Blue Angels were established the team on April 24th, 1946 on the order of Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral Chester Nimitz. Today, an estimated 11 million spectators view the squadron during air shows each year. Additionally, the Blue Angels visit more than 50,000 people a show season (March through November) during school and hospital visits.
