Zenith Aviation Names Bryan Shelton Director, Field Operations

Led Day-To-Day Maintenance For Presidential Helicopter Fleet

Zenith Aviation has named Bryan Shelton as Director, Field Operations.  Shelton recently ended a 20-year career in the United States Marine Corps (USMC) where he retired as Senior Manager, Aviation Maintenance Operations for the Presidential Helicopter Squadron (Executive Division).

Shelton’s USMC career included increasingly more challenging and responsible positions, and in his last role he managed the day-to-day operations of the maintenance of the Presidential helicopter fleet.  He was also responsible for restructuring of phase maintenance processes, and developed and supervised the implementation of a new auditing process.  He lead a multi-functional team, both civilian and military, to resolve capability and capacity challenges with planned and potential projects.  Additionally, he implemented changes with the organizational structure and managed a multi-million dollar budget for aircraft materials and parts in a closed-loop supply system.

In his new position with Zenith Shelton has been tasked with managing special projects for the company.  His duties will include evaluating acquisition inventory, planning and executing a recovery strategy, and determining required facility, personnel and funding to execute special programs.  Shelton will oversee large-scale maintenance and repair projects and engage potential vendors to manage operational costs.

“We are excited to have Bryan on the team,” said Bob Stanford, President and CEO of Zenith.  “He will add tremendous value to our organization, and his background in complex maintenance operations and field support lends itself perfectly to the increased capabilities that we have been moving towards adding to the company.”
