Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corporation ("SSAC") tells ANN that Max E. Bleck has joined its Board of Directors.

Bleck has been working with the company as a Senior Adviser, offering assistance in strategic areas of manufacturing, plant layout, production staffing and supply chain management.

Mr. Bleck has a storied history in aviation with over 45 years in engineering, manufacturing and management with some of the most respected names in general aviation. During his career, Mr. Bleck served as President of Raytheon Company, President and CEO of Beech Aircraft Corporation, President and CEO of Piper Aircraft Corporation, and President of Cessna Aircraft Company.

Mr. Bleck is also a 1992 inductee into the Kansas Aviation Hall of Fame.

The Company also officially announced the departure of Dr. Carl Chen, president and member of the Board of Directors, who has left the company to pursue other interests.

According to Dr. Ching Kuo, Chairman and CEO of SSAC, "Max Bleck has been of great help to the company in a very short period of time. His experience and insight into the aircraft manufacturing process are invaluable. As a Director, he will also provide us with invaluable guidance as the company defines its short term and long term vision and plans. We are very fortunate to have his assistance as we transition into large scale production."

SSAC's SJ30-2 business jet is a high performance twinjet aircraft with a range of over 2,500 nautical miles and the highest cruise speed in the light jet industry of Mach .83 (560 mph). This single pilot certified jet operates at altitudes to 49,000 feet and maintains a "Sea Level Cabin" of 12 psi through 41,000 ft. SSAC plans to produce a family of cost-efficient, high performance, high-quality business jets.
