Jeppesen Adds Security Enhancements

Jeppesen has formed an alliance with Air Security International (Houston, TX) that they are sure will further enhance the safety and security services available through Jeppesen International Trip Planning Services.

By adding ASI's security services to its extensive lineup of trip planning services, Jeppesen is able to offer enhanced pre-trip security intelligence reports and arrange executive protection, transportation and aircraft security services. In addition, Jeppesen will also be extending to its clients ASI's ability to provide and support mobile phone services, using satellite, GSM and cellular phones, to customers across the globe.

"We feel that our alliance with ASI really rounds out Jeppesen's unique OneSource proposition," says Ted Glogovac, product manager, International Trip Planning Services. "The comprehensive security services provided by them are a terrific addition to everything else a customer can get through one call to Jeppesen charts, NavData, weather and NOTAMs, flight planning, trip planning and ground handling, and now security services."

ASI assists executives, flight crews and other international travelers by evaluating proposed itineraries and taking into account the profiles and visibility of passengers, aircraft, and the circumstances at each location on the trip.

"We are delighted that Jeppesen has given us the opportunity to support its clients and to share our experience by providing the best security coverage," says Issy Boim, president, ASI. "Providing the best worldwide intelligence to
determine the level of security coverage that is needed has long been ASI's mission."
