101-Year Old Australian Becomes World's Most Senior Parachutist

Not to take away from former President George Bush, who, to celebrate his 80th birthday last weekend, parachuted in a tandem jump with the Army's Golden Knights. That was mighty impressive.

But consider Frank Moody from Holloways Beach on Australia's northeastern coast. Wednesday, the 101-year old man parachuted from Skydive Cairns in a tandem jump of his own.

Both these guys make us want to do more push-ups.

"He's an absolute legend," said Skydive Cairns' Amanda Pilkington. "It was a bit of a drunken dare by some of his mates at the local Holloways Beach football club. He said, 'Sure, I'll go jump out of an airplane.'"

Pilkington told local reporters she almost fell off her chair when she first heard Moody wanted to try the Guinness record attempt.

Moody's tandem jump started at 9,900 feet and ended with a routine landing. Afterwards, he went with his son, John, to the football club to celebrate his feat with a pint of Guinness.

Forget the push-ups. We'll take the beer!
