CNN reports that the accident occurred Wednesday morning and involved a Cessna 208 Caravan belonging to Hageland Aviation with three people on board and a Piper Super Cub carrying two people, according to Candis A. Olmstead, director of public affairs for the Alaska National Guard.

The Hageland airplane was reported missing at about 1100 local time. The Cub was reported overdue by the Alaska State Troopers to the Alaska Rescue Coordination Center about 15 minutes later.
