Mr. Forrest Colliver Takes Over Operational Management At Becker
Avionics innovator and digital technology provider, Becker Avionics GmbH, is pleased to announce Forrest Colliver has accepted the position of Managing Director. In this role, Mr. Colliver is responsible for leading corporate strategy for evolution and growth of the Becker Avionics Group, and for operational management activities related to the supply of avionics and ground-based solutions supporting next-generation airspace modernization programs. He most recently held the position of Vice President of Business Development for the Becker Avionics Group.
Mr. Colliver joined Becker Avionics from Innovative Solutions and Support, where he led the commercial avionics sales & business development team as Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Colliver previously served as Program Manager for Aviation Research at the MITRE Corporation in Washington D.C, a U.S. government Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC). Mr. Colliver has also led sales, marketing and business development teams at Thales Aerospace in Toulouse, France, at Saab-Sensis, and at EMS Technologies Satcom Division, now part of Honeywell Aerospace.
Mr. Colliver has been honored with the FAA's Award for Achievement in Technical Excellence, and has received the MITRE Corporation's Awards for Industry/Government Team Leadership and for Excellence in User Engagement.
Mr. Colliver holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University as well as an MBA from East Tennessee State University.
