Source: Randy Baseler, Boeing's vice president of marketing for commercial airplanes, on talk within the company of opening a second production line for its highly popular 787 Dreamliner aircraft. One year before the first prototype is expected to take flight, Boeing already has 347 firm orders for the composite aircraft -- and other customers, such as Qatar Airways and Israel's El Al, are reportedly eyeing the plane as Airbus decides what it's going to do with its own A350.
