Avflight Expands Into Canada At Winnipeg International

Marks The Company's First Venture Into Canada

Avflight Corporation expanded its chain of FBOs by transitioning Kelly Western Jet Center at Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport (CYWG) to Avflight Winnipeg on January 30, 2019. This marks the company’s first venture into Canada and brings the chain’s total to 21 full-service FBOs across North America and Europe.

“Winnipeg is a key location for the Avflight Network,” said Garrett Hain, Avflight’s vice president of finance. “This acquisition will help connect Avflight customers to business in Winnipeg and serve as the network’s gateway to Canada.”

As experts in acquisition management, Avflight ensures the FBO’s customers, transient traffic and staff will experience a seamless transition from Kelly Western Jet Centre to Avflight Winnipeg, receiving all the services they need handled with expert care.

As a full-service FBO, Avflight Winnipeg offers customs, 24-hour service, fueling services (including jet fuel and avgas), de-icing, courtesy cars and charter handling. Avflight will operate out of the existing FBO building, which includes ample hangar space able to accommodate any size business aircraft, 12,000 square feet of office space, a conference room, pilot lounge and passenger lobby.

Avflight Corporation operates at strategically-located airports in North America and Europe, specializing in corporate, commercial, and military traffic and services. Avflight is part of the Avfuel Network, offering a full array of Avfuel fueling products and services, such as Avfuel Contract Fuel and AVTRIP rewards.
