Deliveries Scheduled To Begin In 2019

Lufthansa has selected Pratt & Whitney PurePower PW1100G-JM engines for an additional 30 A320neo family aircraft. This order will bring the total number of PW1100G-JM engine-powered aircraft in Lufthansa's fleet to 60. Deliveries are scheduled to start in 2019 and continue through 2021.

Lufthansa previously selected Pratt & Whitney PurePower PW1100G-JM engines in 2011 for its order of 30 A320neo family aircraft with deliveries starting in 2015.

"Our early A320 NEO deliveries will benefit from the technologies in this engine providing us with significant improvements in overall environmental performance and operating cost."

To date, the PurePower engine family has more than 5,300 orders and commitments, including options, from more than 50 global customers.
