Phoenix Heliparts Introduces New Managers At Heli-Expo

Announces Boeing Performance Excellence Award

Phoenix Heliparts will be introducing a couple of new faces (for the company, anyway) at Heli-Expo in Orlando. The company says it is continuing its successful expansion by appointing Conrad Moreno as quality assurance manager, and Marcus Landry as manager of business development. Both appointees have over 30 years experience in the helicopter industry, with careers that have focused on quality assurance and strategic expansion.

Moreno has supported MD500 aircraft, Eurocopter, and UH-1 aircraft in various capacities over the course of his career. He has served in related roles at Pacific Helicopters, Canadian Helicopter Corporation and Columbia Helicopters. Moreno's significant industry knowledge and extensive quality assurance-orientated background will be invaluable as Phoenix continues its current growth strategy.

Phoenix Heliparts president, Tina Cannon, said, "Conrad brings expertise in quality assurance, an area which continues to be the main focus of our business. We look forward to even greater improvement under his direction."

New manager of business development, Marcus Landry, will provide the critical tools necessary to identify potential customers and products, and ensure efficient and effective decision-making across Phoenix's business units; his focus areas will include marketing, advertising and promotional planning. Previously, he has worked in leadership roles at The Timken Company, Bristow Helicopters (air logistics), and Aviall.

Cannon said, "We are very excited to welcome Marcus to our team; he will play an instrumental role in helping Phoenix Heliparts build on its unprecedented growth as a total MD 500 support provider. His industry knowledge, leadership abilities and strong business acumen make him an ideal choice for this role."

The company also announced that it has been awarded a 2010 Boeing Performance Excellence Award, receiving the silver level of recognition from The Boeing Company. The award is given to those suppliers who show strong dedication and continued commitment to its high performance standards, which are measured by strict quality and safety criteria. Phoenix's ability to maintain Boeing's high standards demonstrates its focus on exceeding customer expectations and maintaining competitiveness in the industry.

Phoenix Heliparts president, Tina Cannon, said, "Boeing's award is a validation of all the hard work put in by our team over the last few years. Phoenix has maintained a strong focus on safety and continued growth, which has allowed us to offer superior service to our many customers around the world. The fact that this award comes from what is arguably the world's premier aerospace company makes this event especially gratifying. Our ongoing aim is to outperform in everything we do, and Boeing's recognition means a great deal to each of us at Phoenix Heliparts."
