Lewis Closes Out Distinguished 27 Year career

Teledyne has confirmed rumors of the impending retirement of long-time Teledyne-Continental Motors head, Bryan L. Lewis. In his stead, TCM will be guided by Rhett C. Ross as the new President of Teledyne Continental Motors, Inc., (Piston Engines), effective November 5, 2007. Ross, age 43, succeeds Lewis. Lewis will be retiring on February 1, 2008, after an extensive 27-year career with Teledyne that allowed him to oversee aggressive changes in the company and the product line.

Discovery Returning Wednesday; Pilots Beware

As ANN reported elsewhere Tuesday, the space shuttle Discovery is scheduled to land early Wednesday afternoon... and it will be taking the scenic route, overflying the continental United States on a southeasterly heading from Canada to Florida.
