XOJET Names Adam Komack Chief Marketing Officer

Second Hire To Come From Eos Airlines

On Tuesday, business aircraft fractional XOJET announced the appointment of Adam Komack as chief marketing officer. In this role, Komack will define and drive marketing and customer experience strategies and programs for XOJET’s global private jet service.

"XOJET is in a rapid cycle of expansion in the US and abroad, and it is a pleasure to welcome a proven marketing leader to our management team at such a pivotal time in our company’s history," said Paul Touw, president and CEO of XOJET. "Adam understands our target customers and his ability to translate that understanding into authentic and engaging brand experiences will be instrumental as we further accelerate XOJET’s revenue growth and market leadership."

Most recently, Komack served as chief lifestyle officer for premium business-class airline EOS. While there, Komack oversaw more than 200 executives, customer service representatives and flight attendants and was responsible for all aspects of marketing and customer experience.

As ANN reported, however, the carrier folded in April, a victim of high fuel prices and a global economic climate unkind to niche carriers.

Prior to joining EOS, Komack was a senior vice president at Grey Direct Marketing Group, part of Grey Global Group and WPP Group of Companies, where he oversaw overall strategic direction and management of more than $110 million of integrated marketing activities for companies like Adobe Systems, Cendant’s Retail Travel Services Division, and JPMorgan Chase.

"XOJET’s financial strength and revolutionary operating model allow the company to invest in creating the world’s best and most authentic private jet experience," said Komack. "I am thrilled to be joining a team that is committed to changing the industry paradigm by delivering everything the ultra-successful private air traveler should expect and more."

Komack is the second high-level hire to come to XOJET from Eos. XOJET hired former Eos CFO Eilif Serck-Hanssen to the position of chief financial officer and president of international operations and expansion at the private aviation operation.
