Sporty’s Introduces Partner Programs To Support General Aviation

Flight Instructors, Flying Clubs And FBOs All Eligible For Benefits

Sporty’s Pilot Shop recently announced a comprehensive Partner Program, which includes three initiatives to support general aviation organizations. Flight instructors, flying clubs, flight schools and FBOs are all eligible for rewards, and there are no fees to sign up.

Flight and ground instructors may now earn a $25 Sporty’s Gift Card each time one of their students buys a Sporty’s complete pilot course – available for Private, Sport, Recreational and Instrument training. In order to qualify for the valuable rewards, instructors simply register for the rebate program. “With roots deeply planted in aviation education, we have always worked hard to support student pilots as well as instructors,” says Sporty’s President Michael Wolf. “We’ve invested heavily to create an industry-leading learning experience and want these resources to help instructors.”

Sporty’s CFI Rebate does not include any complicated redemption procedures. Once the CFI enrolls in the program, and a student orders a course, the student enters the instructor’s unique code. The $25 CFI Gift Card is automatically credited to the instructor. Gift cards do not expire and are mailed to instructors monthly.

Members of flying clubs can now receive a 5% rebate on any Sporty’s purchase, which will be paid to their flying clubs on a quarterly basis. There is no fee for this program; flying clubs simply register with Sporty’s. “We are in support of any initiative that spurs pilots to fly more and keeps the price of flying down,” says Wolf. “Individuals who belong to flying clubs will make their normal purchases while supplying their flying clubs with revenue to defray club operating expenses.”

To participate in Sporty’s Flying Club Rebate Initiative, each flying club registers with Sporty’s. Part of the registration process is to supply a copy of the bylaws, which must include a provision that the flying club is accepting new members.

Then the flying club provides a list of members, including their email address, and these members are registered as being associated with a particular club. When a purchase is made, they will be automatically recognized as a registered participant.

Sporty’s also offers a comprehensive dealer program for flight schools and FBOs, which allows businesses to stock high quality pilot supplies at their airport locations. Minimum orders are low, and dealers can earn up to 40% on popular training products. “Sporty’s knows the challenges of operating a flight school and FBO in today’s economic climate. That’s why we have designed our dealer program to offer them the chance to sell the best pilot supplies and make more money for their businesses,” says Wolf.
